WHAT IS DA JHURGAH?

Da JhurGah is a chapter of the national battle game called Dagorhir (pronounced Dagger-here). Dagorhir encompasses many things. Dagorhir combines fast-paced, full-contact, soft, safe weapon combat with live action role-playing. Dagorhir combines elements of both history and fantasy together into a wonderful blend of new live action fantasy sports gaming. Dagorhir’s participants experience their fantasies on a variety of levels from the calmest of traveling merchants to the wildest battle raging troll. This is just a brief over view. WHEN WE MEET.

Da JhurGah meets once or twice a week in Boulder, Colorado. Currently we meet on Sundays at noon at Parkside Park in North Boulder and At The Elk Lodge Park on special occasions. You can click the park names for maps of the area.Tuesday evenings find us in our backyard. Some winter weekends in Boulder are a bit too wet and cold for some peoples preferences and on weekends where it looks like we may not have a good turn out we try to get together for weapons construction or garb creation or at the very least, some good company and warm food.
